A short paved walk/ bike trail.
I started today’s hikes at the southern end of the available parking and walked south. I was the only non-fisherman down there but enjoyed the walk.
Pokomoke River State Park in Maryland has one small trail; The Trail of Change. It was an incredibly pleasant walk through the woods outlining the diverse ecosystems that possible in a small area just due to slight elevation changes.
My last hike of the day was back on the mainland starting behind the Assateague Island National Shortline visitors center; Rackcliff Plantation House. After work, I was able to hit up the remaining trails at Merrill Creek Reservoir in one giant loop.
I forgot a hair-tie for my beard today. Fortunately it’s long enough to just tie in a knot now.
